Ernst Zinner

The isotopic composition of stardust, the matter created as stars burn, is a rich source of information about stellar evolution, synthesis of elements, and solar system formation. In his Perspective, Zinner reviews recent work on the laboratory analysis of stardust preserved in micrometeorites presented at the 58th Meteoritical Society Meeting.
