Europe Scrambles to Control Deadly H5N1 Strain

After confirming last week that the deadly H5N1 avian influenza virus circulating in Asia has now killed 1800 turkeys at a farm in Turkey and several ducks in Romania, European officials are bracing for further outbreaks among poultry.
