Moscow--A new tax law revokes the tax exemptions that had been enjoyed by the foreign foundations that support much of the research in Russia. As a result, many of the foundations, including the International Science Foundation, funded by the American financier George Soros, may find that operating in Russia is no longer worthwhile.
